1. You've moved in to your new place,
an asylum for the mentally insane; a one-bedroom with a kitchen, with just enough space for a couch
2. It's hard at first; the juggling and the getting there; balancing your priorities amid the chaos of settling in.
3. The greatest thing about living alone is that you ARE alone. You have your privacy, and your awful sleeping habits. What's more to want?
4.Schedules are flexible; except if you lack half the mind to manage your time.
5. Your neighbors ignore you, they try very hard to pretend you don't exist,
which is good.
6.You worry about running thin on supplies; you live off what little you can afford. If you have enough, you troop to the grocery and you splurge impulsively on junk.
7. You find ways to entertain yourself, like the hours you spend decorating and redecorating that wall with fluff and movie posters.
8. It is not an indignity to clean your own bathroom, unclog the toilet and what else.
9. You come home from school, late in the evening, drenched in your own sweat. You swear to your god for mercy, but the only voice you hear is yourself.
